Having a positive environmental impact is part of a solar installer’s business model. However, we take it a little further than most. As a company, Texas Direct Solar is committed to being carbon neutral by 2022.

Texas Direct Solar offsets emissions from each project with carbon offset credits. Currently, we are using offsets from the Texas Coastal Exchange a non-profit that restores coastal marshes in Texas. These habitats do a range of important work in addition to sequestering carbon, including reducing stormwater runoff, providing critical habitat for Fish and Wildlife. We also do little things like use the Ecosia search browser which plants trees for every internet search you do, use recycled paper for envelopes, and more.
